| In 1998 Patenbrigade: Wolff was
founded in Berlin/Germany by Brigadier Sven Wolff and Brigadeleiter
Lance Murdock. They make no secret of their obsession with heavy machinery. Endlessly fascinated with what appears to others as the monotonous daily routines of a construction site, they early on became enraptured with loud and gigantic machines, the glare of orange safety vests, yellow hard hats, and striped cordoning tape. However, the focus of their fervent adoration became the gravity-defying conductors in their seemingly never-ending tower cranes. It is exactly this bizarre source of inspiration that seems to have fueled Patenbrigade: Wolff and the duos zest for musical achievements since 1998. Patenbrigade: Wolff is the soundtrack for this situation and remains dedicated to all tower crane conductors across the world. Enjoy! |

Wolff are amongst the top thee "Top Single Acts" -- just
like last year! Patenbrigade: Wolff are in brilliant company with the
other Top Acts Oomph!, Jesus on Extasy, The Cure, Editors and IAMX.

| Patenbrigade: Wolff crept on the quiet into the top 3 of the annual charts 2007 of the German Alternative Charts (DAC) in the category "Top Single Act National 2007", behind Northern Lite and (only one point) behind Melotron!! But that ain't really surprising: because, when an originally instrumental alternative act (who's producing mostly instrumental music since 1998) releases four singles of one album!!! And these singles are bouncing in the DAC for weeks and climb up to top 10 positions it's simply more than just a wonder! | |||

| After the very successfull third album
"Hochstapler"
of 2007, the two East Berlin construction workers Murdock und Wolff
proof again with their new release "Demokratischer
Sektor" that Ambient Electro is club suitable and can be
presented in a modern style. Off the Ambient for tower crane conductors
towards Electro for construction site officers! The 9. release "Demokratischer Sektor" of Patenbrigade: Wolff is therefore a retrospektive and sums up quite impressive the last four years of the Berlin duo Brigadier Sven Wolff and Brigadeleiter Lance Murdock. So, it became a kind of Best Of all recent singles and top hits in an accurat sound. Besides new, formative songs like "Stalinallee" und "Schusswechsel" there're exklusive remixes by KiEW and Absurd Minds. Also, Sara Noxx is lending her distingtive voice to the songs "Gefahrstoffe" und "Krantransport". |
