Oct 17, 2007 Remix für SARA NOXX-Best Of Für die im Winter erscheinende Best Of-CD von SARA NOXX hat PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF ihren (größten) Hit „Winter Again“ neu bearbeitet. Neben den wie immer ergreifenden Vocals von Sara himself hat auch eine nicht mehr ganz unbekannte Gastsängerin namens Antje Dieckmann hinter dem Mikro Platz genommen, die sich auch schon bei der Radio-Version von der aktuellen „Maurerradio“-Single verewigen durfte. Remix For SARA NOXX-Best Of For Best-Of cd of SARA NOXX, coming up in winter, PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF did some re-work on her (biggest) hit „Winter Again“. Besides the always affecting vocals of Sara, Antje Dieckmann appears behind the mic, who can also be heard in the radio version of „Maurerradio“.

Woche in den Deutschen Alternative Charts vertreten (aktuell Platz 9) und damit die erfolgreichste Auskopplung der Bandgeschichte noch vor "Ostberliner Bauarbeiter" und "Gefahrstoffe (feat. Sara Noxx)". Zwischenzeitlich auf Platz 8 gestiegen (3. Woche) ist der auf der Bandhomepage seit Mai 2007 gratis angebotene "PVD Club Mix" von "Turmdrehkran" - mit den MySpace-Downloads zusammengerechnet - bereits über 6.000 mal auf den Festplatten in der ganzen Welt abgespeichert worden… und ein Ende ist (noch) nicht abzusehen! Ein weiteres Mysterium ist der Name. Denn viele Rätsel bauen sich seit geraumer Zeit nämlich genau darum auf, wofür denn eigentlich das mysteriöse "PVD" im Namen der Club Mix-Version steht. Und eine vielseitig diskutierte Theorie deutet immer stärker darauf hin, daß es sich nur um PAUL VAN DYK handeln kann? Die Band selbst hat auf Anfrage von Electronic-Music.org darauf keinen Kommentar abgegeben, da sie vertraglich zu äußerste Verschwiegenheit verdonnert wurde. Und Verträge hält man bekanntlich ein! Meanwhile climbed up to place 8 in week 3, the "PVD Club Mix" of "Turmdrehkran", which can be downloaded from the band's website since May 2007, has been saved to over 6000 drives all over the planet (including downloads from MySpace). And there's no end foreseeable! The track name is a further mystery, 'cause many rumours are being spread about what the mysterious "PVD" stands for in the Club Mix title. Der mit Abstand beliebteste Track aus dem aktuellen PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF-Album "Hochstapler" heißt "Maurerradio" und wird ausgekoppelt. Damit gibt die Band den massiven Druck der Fans nach. Ob die neue Single den Erfolg von "Turmdrehkran" brechen kann, muss erst noch getestet werden. Der ursprünglich instrumentale Album-Track wurde für die Radiotauglichkeit mit großartigen Lyrics des bei PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF seit geraumer Zeit im Hintergrund arbeitenden "L.T. Smash" veredelt und von der Patenbrigade himself einer musikalisch RETROspektiven Generaloperation unterzogen. Viel ist zwar vom Original nicht mehr übrig geblieben; heraus kam aber ein waschechter Retro-Renner, der in seiner Einfachheit das Zeug dazu hat, den Effekt von "Turmdrehkran" mindestens zu wiederholen. Order now! http://www.Patenbrigade.com/shop August 15, 2007 PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF live in San Francisco: Lance Murdocks Flugangst bestätigt Brigadier Sven Wolff hat Brigadeleiter Lance Murdock anlässlich der geplanten Nordamerika-Premiere am 11.09. im Mezzanine-Club (San Francisco) wegen seiner Flugangst angeraten, sich bitte doch frühzeitig in Flugvorbereitungstherapie zu begeben. Schon 2005, als die Band per Segelgleiter auf dem Luftweg nach Schweden war, konnte Lance vom Bordpersonal nur in letzter Minute unter Passagierquarantäne gestellt werden, nachdem dieser drohte, knallhart durchzudrehen. Erst ein, zwei Leck-mich-am-Arsch-Pillen seitens hübscher Stewardessen später konnten Schlimmeres verhindern. Diesmal sollte er die Tabletten selbstverständlich schon vor dem Flug schlucken. Und für den Fall der Fälle will sich Lance vorsichtshalber noch ´ne Zyankali-Kapsel zulegen… man kann ja nie wissen. PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF live in San Francisco: Lance Murdock's fear of flying attested On the occasion of their North American premier in the Mezzanine-Club (San Francisco) on Sept. 11, Brigadier Sven Wolff has told Brigadeleiter Lance Murdock to administer a fear of flying therapy as soon as possible. Yet in 2005, when the band flew to Sweden, the cabin crew was able to quarantine Lance just before he was going to wack out. Some beautiful stewardesses were able to keep him from screwing himself another hole in his ass by giving him some "Bite me!"-pills. This time, he'd better take the pills before take off. And just in case, Lance will take along a cyanide pill as a precaution… You'll never know.

Schon einen Tag später spielt die Brigade beim diesjährigen Stapler-Cup 2007 in Wustermark auf dem Gelände der Trafö Gabelstapler GmbH im Güterverkehrszentrum. Der geplante Auftritt auf einer Laderampe eines stattlichen Lastkraftwagens soll um 12 Uhr beginnen. Patenbrigade: Wolff Live Patenbrigade: Wolff will support the Melotron show at the K17 club on Friday, May 11. The concert presumably starts at 9pm. Yet, the on the next day Pb:W plays live at the 2007 Stapler-Cup at the production site of Trafö Gapelstapler GmbH in Wustermark. Since 1990, Trafö is one of the leading companies of the floor conveyance branch in Berlin and Brandenburg, and is selling and renting fork lift trucks, made by conglomerate “Lined”. Its portfolio ranges from drawbar- and front side lift trucks to semi-automatic narrow aisle trucks or electric tractors. Further information >> Jan. 23, 2007 Patenbrigade: Wolff im Sturmeinsatz Der Deutschland-Orkan "Kyrill" hat auch vor der Patenbrigade nicht halt gemacht: noch in der Sturmnacht wurde sie zum Einsatz aus dem Bett geklingelt. Bis zum späten Nachmittag verbrachten Lance Murdock und Sven Wolff damit, Brandenburgs Strommasten wieder in Gang zu bringen, um die Haushalte zu versorgen. Ehrensache ;-) Patenbrigade: Wolff on a First-Aid mission after hurricane “Kyrill” Hurricane “Kyrill”, who stroke Germany last month, was strong enough to even alert the Patenbrigade emergency call centre. Having gotten out of the bed that night, Lance Murdock and Sven Wolff were operating on Brandenburg's power poles till late afternoon, in order to power the households again.
